January 1, 2015 | Leave a comment Isaiah 53:1 “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?” I praise God for the closure of 2014 and for the opportunity to function in another wonderful year, 2015. The 2014 actually ended the past for you and 2015 started a better future for you. No doubt God has been good to you and all that is yours. The New Year holds a lot of promises seeking expression and fulfilment for you. But it will be a function of your faith in whose report. In 2014 we heard all kinds of reports about 2015, and it is imperative to base your faith in God, possibilities and positive things. The predictions of other people do not have to govern our reality. The reports about economy challenges, political uncertainties, the value of your country’s currency going down, financial hardships, compromises in integrity because hard times, sicknesses, loss of jobs, divorces, terrorists attack, unpleasant weather reports, accidents and death and so on. God through His servant Moses reminded the children of Israel about Canaan, the promise land. Numbers 13:1-3 “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, “Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel; of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, everyone a ruler among them. And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.” It is very important you go for your purpose, destiny, dream in life regardless of the surrounding circumstances. God knows the situation of the Promised Land, year, and seasons of your life. But He wants to grow your faith in Him through those challenges. The 10 out of the 12 leaders that went to search the land, Numbers 13:26-29, came with bad report. These 10 leaders can be refer to some of our Economists, Politicians, Researchers, Advisers, Accountants, Philosophers, Medical Doctors etc. of today, basing their predictions on history, trend, facts and figures, and the realities of our time. Should we ignore their findings? No, we should rather base our belief in God’s report as written in the scriptures not their report. In the Luke6:47-48 says; “Whosoever comes to me, and hears my sayings (reports), and does them, I will show you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built a house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.” In Numbers 13:30 and 14:6-9, God want us to be another Caleb and Joshua in this New Year. Confess positive things about yourself, family, business, ministry, profession, country/nation and all that is yours. Believe God’s report, obey them, act on them, confess them, and tell others about God’s report to save some from fear all around that the devil and our enemies want to capitalize on to destroy lives. Save yourself by believing God’s report. You are welcome to the best year ever. Your season of harvest is here. Feed your faith with God’s report to starve your fear about man’s report. IT IS A NEW DAY! Job 36:11 says; “If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures.” Faith in God’s Pardon for the past, Power for the present and Promise for the future will see you through the New Year. Let your life count for time and eternity in the New Year. CONGRATULATIONS! It is your year and season of God’s visitation in your life, family, work, city and country. His visitation comes with glory, blessings, breakthrough, wonders, grace, abundance, prosperity and judgment on your enemy. Happy New Year.
